The PD.184C01 utilises our new chassis design and has been engineered using a fully optimised cone and surround to improve linearity and tonal character. These changes bring the PD.184C01 to the forefront for improved, Hi-Fi like performance coupled with Pro Audio power handling and reliability.
The PD.184C01 performance characteristics can be optimised by reflex loading. The excellent definition and response speed at the lowest audio frequencies make this drive unit eminently suitable as the bass component in monitoring systems.
This versatile driver is equally at home in traditional Horn Loaded applications offering tight punch / defined bass reproduction across its working band.

Power compression is the reduction of sensitivity at the specified power. Higher power ratings do not necessarily give a proportionate increase in SPL therefore the maximum SPL of the driver may significantly exceed that of other manufacturers with high power ratings.
