Where are Precision Devices products manufactured?

Preicison Devices products represent the very best in loudspeaker engineering and performance. All of our products are designed in the UK and manufactured in one of our dual manufacturing facilities in Yorkshire, England and Shenzhen, China so that we may best service the needs of our international client base.

Like all high-end products our component parts are sourced from only the world's most reputable suppliers to guarantee optimal performance and reliability.

Built using a modular process with a carefully controlled blend of operator managed and automated processes with inspection and testing at key stages. No matter the origin. You can be sure if it carries the PD badge it will have been manufactured to the same high-level production standards and provide unrivalled performance, reliability and customer satisfaction.

Where can I buy Precision Devices products?

Precision Devices are available to buy from our international network of distributors / retailers. If you are based in the UK you can also buy products direct from our e-store.

How can I tell if my Precision Devices product is genuine?

Unfortunatley the pro audio market and internet are flooded with fake products.

In order to help combat counterfiet products we have introduced special security holograms on all PD products. This is combined with the inclusion of a product warranty card that also features the hologram. Difficult to reproduce, the hologram can be used quickly to verify genuine PD products.

We always recommend contacting your local Precision Devices distributor / retailer to ensure you are receiving genuine products and warranty support.

What warranty does Precision Devices offer?

Genuinely hand-crafted in England and imbued with quality through every stage of the manufacturing process. Precision Devices products are the result of intelligent design, engineering excellence and world-class manufacturing standards.

Every PD product ships with a 3 year limited manufacturers warranty as long as it has been purchased from an authorised PD distributor or retailer.

Any product warranty claims should be made through the original retailer. An original and dated bill of sale will be required for any warranty service claims.

What is your minimum order quantity?

Precision Devices are able to service the needs of both large and small volume customers alike. Thanks to our dual manufacturing facilities we are able to offer international pro audio systems manufacturers competitive prices, fast lead times and efficient global delivery.

Our distribution and sales partners are also able to offer bulk discounts and 'trade' pricing to registerd business customers. Please get in touch with us to find out more.

Do Precision Devices offer loudspeaker system design assistance?

Sorry, we don't offer system design support to individuals other than the cabinet design plans on offer in the resources and blog pages of our website.

Can you identify vintage Precision Devices products?

Precision Devices have been manufacturing loudspeakers for over 30 years. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide technical support or respond to individual requests for information related to specifications and model numbers of products whose sales were discontinued more than 10 years ago. The technical data is no longer available for these vintage or obsolete models.

We strongly recommend that you seek professional support for any product repairs to ensure long-term performance and that the correct repair processes are adhered to.

How do Precision Devices measure loudspeaker performance?

Our R&D team use FEA (finite element analysis), along with state-of-the-art modelling and design software
to ensure each component and, ultimately, the final product performs to its fullest potential. High-level
investment in this area means we continue to develop and innovate, pushing the boundaries in acoustic
design, and material technology.

We are equipped with the latest Klippel KA3 Analyser, Scanning Virbrometer and Suspension Part Measurement systems along with Audio Precision APX systems for loudspeaker analysis, development and end-of-line testing.

How does Klarna work?
We’ve partnered with Klarna to give you a better shopping experience. When you choose Klarna at the checkout you’ll get the option to Pay later in 30 days for your purchase or Pay in 3 instalments.

 

Pay later within 30 days - Klarna is a payment method which allows you to pay later.
Once your order is placed you will receive an email with payment instructions within 2 days from Klarna. You’ll have 30 days to pay for your order at your convenience. To complete the payment online at no extra cost you can pay via credit or debit card in the Klarna app or by logging on to http://www.klarna.com/uk.
Customers need to be over the age of 18 with a billing and delivery address registered in the UK to use Klarna. Please note, all items in your shopping bag must be eligible for Klarna and the shopping value must be under £1500, there is no minimum spend. Gift cards and Click & Collect are excluded from Klarna. When choosing Pay later in 30 days Klarna’s assessment is subject to your financial circumstances Klarna’s assessment will not affect your credit rating.

 

Pay in 3 instalments – if you don’t want to pay in one go, you can choose to do it in 3 instalments, with the first payment taken when your order has been dispatched. Klarna will automatically charge subsequent instalments on the 30th and 60th days.

When you get to the checkout page, under the payment section, select Klarna as your payment method. Enter your card information and pay for your order. You will be sent a 6-digit verification code sent to you via SMS. You can log in to your Klarna account online or on their app at any time to view your payment schedule or make a payment before the due date.

Customers need to be over the age of 18 with a billing and delivery address registered in the UK to use Klarna. Please note, all items in your shopping bag must be eligible for Klarna and the shopping value must be under £1000, there is no minimum spend. How can I increase my chances of being accepted for Klarna Payments?
Klarna is unique and offers Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments or Pay later in 30 days based on a number of factors such as the order value, previous order history and item availability. If you are 18 or over, you can improve your chances of being offered Klarna services by ensuring you provide your full name and accurate address details and shipping to your registered billing address. All orders are assessed individually. Just because you have been accepted for a Klarna payment method before does not mean it will be offered for every order and in turn, as it is denied does not mean it will be denied for all future orders.

What do I need to provide when I make a purchase?
If you want to make a purchase with Klarna using Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments or Pay later in 30 days, you'll need to provide your mobile phone number, email address, current billing address and a debit or credit card. The mobile number is required in case we need to reach you. All communications will be sent to your email address. It's very important that you give us the correct details, as otherwise you will not receive your payment schedule and any updated order information.

Will a credit search take place against me?
Klarna may run so-called unrecorded enquiries (or soft credit searches) that do not affect credit scoring and are only visible to you and Klarna, but not visible to other lenders. Neither Klarna nor Precision Devices run credit searches against you that could impact your credit rating.

Why have I not been offered Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments or Pay in 30 days?
Although Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments and Pay in 30 days are widely promoted it is not always universally available. The Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments payment option is automatically generated by algorithms that are dependent upon a number of factors including address details, cardholder details, amount of order, the online store, previous order history and item availability.

Why is Klarna showing as "Option Not Available"?
Typically this is displayed if your total order value is over £1000 or Klarna may have rejected your application. We'd recommend choosing another type of payment or placing an order for a smaller amount.

What are my payment options with Klarna Pay later in 3 interest-free installments?
Payment for your Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments will automatically be collected from the debit or credit card you entered at checkout. The first payment is taken when the order is confirmed. The second and third instalments are collected 30 and 60 days, respectively, after the first instalment. You can always monitor your payments’ schedule in the Klarna app.

What are my payment options with Klarna Pay in 30 days?
You can pay with debit or credit card immediately in the checkout or take advantage of our Pay later in 30 days payment option, where you can pay for the goods once you have received them via credit card or debit card. You can always monitor your outstanding payments in the Klarna app.

What happens if I don’t pay for my order - Pay later in 3 interest-free installments?
Klarna will automatically attempt to collect your payment for your Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments purchase at Precision Devices from the debit or credit card you entered at checkout. If we are unable to collect your payment on the scheduled due date Klarna will make one further attempt to automatically collect payment two days later. Should this last payment attempt fail, Klarna will issue you a statement for the full outstanding order amount which will become payable 15 days later. Klarna shall notify you when a payment is due two days in advance of attempting to collect your payment and you can always monitor the due date in Klarna app at your convenience.
You will not be charged fees or interest for late and/or missed repayment(s). Your credit score will not be impacted by using Klarna's "Pay later in 3 instalments" product even if you have failed to pay on time. If you fail to make a payment you will be in default, and may be unable to use Klarna in the future. Klarna may continue to attempt to collect overdue and currently due payments on subsequent due dates, or invoice you separately for the unpaid total. If you do not pay for your purchase, Klarna may engage with an external debt collection agency to collect. Debt collection agencies are used as a last resort.

What happens if I don’t pay for my order - Pay later in 30 days?
Payment is due 30 days after the item has been despatched. To help you pay on time, Klarna will alert you two days before payment is due – you'll receive a push notification from the Klarna app or email reminders to pay – and, if very late, they’ll also send you a text or letter, too. You will not be charged fees or interest for late and/or missed repayment(s). Your credit score will not be impacted by using Klarna's "Pay later in 30 days" product even if you have failed to pay on time. If you fail to pay on time, you will be in default, and may be unable to use Klarna's services in the future. If you do not pay for your purchase, Klarna may engage with an external debt collection agency to collect. Debt collection agencies are used as a last resort.

Having trouble paying with Klarna?
Klarna may have rejected your application to pay on account. Klarna may not have been able to check your details using the billing address that you've provided. You'll need to make sure that your billing address is the same address that your bank/credit cards are registered to.
You may have outstanding payments on previous Klarna statements. Once these are paid off, try Pay Later with Klarna again. If you've recently paid off outstanding statements, please allow 24 hours before trying to pay through Klarna again.
If you haven't used Klarna before and you're shipping to a different address to your billing address, the payment may be declined.

I have been asked to go to the Klarna site. Is this correct?
You can view all of your Klarna purchases and payment schedule in the Klarna app or by logging onto http://www.klarna.com/uk.

Is my payment information safe?
Payment information is processed securely by Klarna. No card details are transferred to or held by Precision Devices. All transactions take place via connections secured with the latest industry standard security protocols.

Can I pay before the due date?
Yes. Just go to the Klarna app or log onto Klarna.com/uk and pay off early.

Have you received my payment?
Klarna will notify you via email and push notification from the Klarna app when a payment is due and when this has successfully been collected, or in the unlikely event of your payment failing. If a payment has been collected but you have not received payment confirmation, you can always check the status of your order and payments in the Klarna app or by logging in at https://www.klarna.com/uk/.

What happens to my statement, when I've returned my order?
Once Precision Devices have received the return (partial or full) and you have received their confirmation of this, an updated statement with an adjusted payment schedule will be sent to you by Klarna if you've made a partial return. With a full return, Klarna shall refund any payments collected and cancel any future scheduled payments. You are always able to monitor the status of your order in the Klarna app.

I've received a statement, but I've not yet received my order.
In the event that you haven’t received your order received please call contact us here or call us on +44 (0)1924 224610, to check on your order and delivery status. You can also contact Klarna’s Customer Service so that they can postpone the due date on your payment or put the order on hold in the Klarna app while you wait for your items to arrive.

How do I return my order and how will I be refunded?
Simply follow our returns process here. As soon as we receive your return, Klarna will cancel any future scheduled payments as well as refund any amounts due. The return will be reflected in the Klarna app immediately.

Refunds shall be issued back to the debit or credit card which was originally entered at checkout. If you haven’t received an email with statement/payment information. You can log in the Klarna app or at www.klarna.com/uk, where you will find all of your orders and payment schedule information.
